A few days ago I picked up a DVD at my local library entitled “Secrets of the Kabbalah” released by the History Channel.
I knew only very general things about the Kabbalah but what I did know was enough to make me sure it is false and a blasphemy to our Lord and Savior Yeshua.
Nevertheless, being a descendant of Sephardic Jews myself and always having had an interest in knowing about these kinds of things, I decided to pick it up.
In this DVD it says that a bunch of Jewish mystics got together to try and understand Ezekiel’s vision from Ezekiel 1:1-28 hoping that by understanding this passage they can come to see God for themselves and “become one with the Divine Spirit”.
It is said that what these Jewish mystics were seeking was the type of desire for enlightment that would bring about Kabbalah later on.
Kabbalah is a form of Jewish mysticism concocted in about 200 AD (the DVD says 2nd Century “CE”, but ‘whatever’). It was around this time when Jews were being persecuted by the Romans and it apparently forced them to turn to mysticism and perform magic.
It seems even then people just didn’t understand their religion. In the case of these Jews, they didn’t understand their own Old Testament because if they had and believed it to be the Word of their God they wouldn’t have turned all hokey and abra-cadabra.
Not only that, but it’s interesting to note that Kabbalah came to be after the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It did not exist before although many Jews, as we know, had on many occasions turned to strange gods and customs. I have a feeling that Jews who had not believed in Yeshua as the Messiah after He came to this earth could find no hope in their Old Testament.
How could they?
The Savior had come and He was rejected by most of them. Therefore by rejecting the Messiah, who came as was prophesied in the Old Testament, where was their hope? There was none - and just as they had turned from their God many times in the past through idol worship, sorcery, paganism, disobedience, etc., they did it once again by turning to mysticism after the coming of the Lord. By rejecting the new covenenant the Jews were thrown into a confusion.
The Truth was right there and is here in front of them but many can’t see it and so, it is quite possible that Judaism was redefined in order to suit because the what they had been waiting for did not come, as far as they were concerned.
Note that to my understanding the Kabbalah is actually rejected by many if not most Jews today. While there are some Jews who are into Kabbalah and say that there is the true Kabbalah, of which the true secrets can only be known by Jews, and another which is fed to the masses, most of what we see out there concerning Kabbalah is a packaged version for easy consumption of the public, including many celebrities such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Elizabeth Taylor, Roseanne Barr, Demi Moore and others.
The “real” Kabbalah is dangerous and a blasphemy to the Living God. The trendy version is equally so but is also a racket to fill the pockets of its head people and it’s leader Dr. Philip Berg, their rabbi who was in insurance for a living and married with seven children who left them to become a Kabbalah guru, studying in Jerusalem. How Philip Berg became a rabbi is unknown.
Supposedly some Jew named Bar-Yohai (or however it’s spelled) hid in a cave for 13 years meditating on “God and the universe” using the Torah as inspiration.
Also note, as this only just occurred to me now as I write this, that Mohammed was also living in a cave when Allah appeared to him and he wrote the Koran. Also, the word “Allah” appears in Kabbalah (Kab-Allah). Kabbalah is supposed to mean “receiving” but I find it interesting. “Allah” and is also the origin of the Portuguese and Castilian forms of “Hello” (Ola and Hola, respectively). The numbers 13 and 33 also appear often in the assassination of rulers and “heretics”, Knight Templars, Freemasonry, Catholicism such as Fatima and the death of Pope John Paul 1 who was pope for 33 days when he died as just two of many examples, dates of many tragedies, etc. I believe that Rome/Jesuits/Papacy are behind many of the evil events in history and that they created Islam and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were behind this also.
After Bar-Yohai many other Jewish mystics used magic and meditation to unleash powerful spiritual forces. Novices were warned against using this particular kind of mysticism because of the danger of the destruction they might bring upon themselves by not being “good enough” or “pure enough” for God to accept them on the journey of enlightenment by which He would reveal Himself to them.
These mystics believed that they were able to pass and saw a vision and in this vision were a series of gates that they must pass through before reaching God. The path was also supposedly blocked by mean and fierce angels to keep the unworthy from heaven.
To be worthy to pass these mystics needed to learn the names of these angels and repeat them a certain number of times and they would also wear amulets to protect them from the power of the angels. Once they were able to pass they would enter a throne room in which they would learn the “secrets”.
To the Jews, does any of this mumbo jumbo even sound like the Old Testament let alone the New Testament? Anyone for that matter, does it?
No, of course it doesn’t.
John 18:20, “Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.”
Isaiah 8:20, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Revelation 18:23, “[…] by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
Revelation 22:14 to 15, “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
2 Timothy 3:8 to 9, “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.”
Deuteronomy 18:14, “For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.”
And there are countless other passages.
Sometime later some unknown Jews wrote something called “The book of creation” in which they claimed that God spoke the world into existance by using the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
I was thinking about becoming a Messianic Jew once, until I saw that in this is alot of mysticism and talk about the power of these letters, God’s musical scale and so on. I really don’t know whether or not Hebrew, Arabic and Aramaic are the only “pure languages” in the world with sounds that create a certain frequency that can have certain effects, such as healing. But to be safe I distanced myself from it, because Jesus never told me that in order to be healed I had to utter Hebrew words.
At about five minutes into the documentary, Pinchas Miller professor of Kabbalah at the University of Judaism said, “God spoke, let there be light, so obviously God’s speach was the creating agent and what language did God speak? God spoke Hebrew, of course!”
Now, I don’t know that God spoke Hebrew, I’ll have to look into that and I wonder how Pinchas Miller knows that. But what I do know and believe is that the language, words, letters or sounds God used was not the power behind the creation of the universe, otherwise God would be nothing more than a sorcerer!
It’s not what languague God spoke but the fact that He spoke it! Is scripture even needed to know this? Is God a sorcerer? These Kabbalists can try as much as they want to but they will never create anything by their language except God’s annoyance. God created the world by His Word and this WORD is Jesus Christ, and by Him was everything created!
Ephesians 3:9, “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”
And as far as these Hebrew sounds bringing everything into existance as if we could do the same if we were to figure it out…
Isaiah 40:12,“Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?”
Isaiah 48:13, “Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.”
Later, some Iberian Jewish Rabbi discovers an important book called “Zohar” which means “radiance” or “splendor” in Hebrew and poorly written in Aramaic mingled with archaic Portuguese and Castilian words by an unknown author. An erotic passage that appears in it says,“By arousal below there is similarly arousal above… male and female unite, desire prevails, worlds are blessed and above and below are in joy”
Freemasons, Illuminists and Luciferians have a similar saying - “As above so below“. I won’t get into these here but anyone familiar with these groups will be familiar with this saying and what it means, but I am pointing out here that it is also part of the doctrine of Luciferians.
Kabbalists believe that by unlocking the mysteries of the Zohar they can unlock the secrets to heaven and earth. One of the secrets involves God’s body and sexuality. This is really offensive to me by demoted the Living God and putting Him on the level of humans. Part of their argument is that from God come masculine and feminine qualities, which I resent. I believe that FUNCTIONS are masculine or feminine, but qualities are not. Either sex can possess any number of qualities, which are not determined by their sex. I’ve never heard that anywhere but it’s what I think.
But regardless of what I think, God refers to Himself as He and Jesus said to not call anyone Father except our Father in heaven and males are fathers, not women. To make God out to be limited and on our level of male and female for whatever reasons including possibly just to appease the insecurities and calming of a fanatical feministic outrage is ridiculous.
Included in Kabbalism is communion with the dead and all other sorts of blasphemies against God. I don’t need to go into what God says about familiar spirits and communing with the dead do I?
It is appointed for man to live once and then the judgment. From dust we came and to dust we shall return. When we die we go into a sleep and we will be resurrected to the judgment - some to everlasting life and others to eternal damnation. David also asked God who would praise him from the grave.
When you’re dead - you’re dead.
As I said earlier many non Jews who are Kabbalists consuming the “goyim” version are celebrities. Here are some of their quotes concerning the Kabbalah cult.
Demi Moore - “It helped me to learn the value of my worth”
Roseanne Barr - “This is the basis of everything I believe”
Elizabeth Taylor - “A light to lead me through the darkness”
Madonna - “Studying Kabbalah has changed my whole outlook on life”
Madonna’s husband, Guy Ritchie, wants to be called Maccabees (Apocryphal book) and brings along other Kabbalists to business meetings for their enlightening advice. Guy Ritchie also plans to do films based on Kabbalah.
Madonna has also made Friday her sabbath and refuses to work on this day. The Sabbath actually begins Friday at sunset and ends on Saturday at sunset but it is the equivalent of Saturday and not Friday, which is just as blasphemous as accepting the Roman Sunday (Sun day) as the day God appointed for rest, which is the Sabbath. I don’t believe that keeping the Sabbath as the Jews did is necessary and keeping it is not what saves a person but I recognize it on principle as the day of rest to spite the Catholic pagan custom of sunday, because the Sabbath (Saturday) is the day the Lord appointed - not sunday or any other day of the week. It is simply a question of recognizing God’s authority, I therefore keep the Sabbath as others would keep Sunday because I refuse to follow the tradition that was made by Rome to demote God.
Madonna also apparently wants to be called Esther and her recent book “English Roses” was based on Kabbalah stories. Madonna also holds hands with her dancers and everyone of her performers before a concert and prays to her god in vulgar and dirty language. Madonna also displays idols of “Jesus” and “Mary” during her shows as well as Hebrew words and has a Rabbi Kabbalist somewhere in the venue telling her what to do and how to behave through an earpiece.
Other celebrity Kabbalists are Britney Spears, Jerry Hall, Mick Jagger, Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham and others who openly admit their Kabbalist faith and give generously to its founder Feivel Gruberger (“rabbi” Philip Berg).
According to ex-Kabbalists they were treated like slaves, forced to distance themsleves from friends and family and do as they were told.
Kabbalism is a cult. Whether the Kabbalist is a real “insider” or just someone who follows the Hollywood version of it it can only lead to death and destruction of which only the Lord Yeshua Hamashiach can save.
